I have always been passionate about finding the deepest, and most lasting health modality known in the world. On my own I researched many natural health disciplines but didn't find what I was looking for until I found classical homeopathy.

It was not a destination I saw coming. I didn't know much about homeopathy at the time. In my research, there was always more abundant information on Chinese medicine, herbs, nutritional therapy, or even Chiropractic care, Naturopathic medicine - but not on homeopathy.

It snuck up on me, but it was the answer I was always seeking. In homeopathy, we understand health as a condition of the whole individual, and not about exclusively understanding isolated symptoms from specific parts of the body. We view symptoms as the language the body speaks when it is not well; they let us know there's something wrong. Symptoms aren't the enemy. As such, they don't need to be suppressed or become the focus of making sure we eliminate. Rather, they need to be understood in light of the whole person. It is from that understanding we homeopaths come to know which homeopathic remedy will help each person the best. 

A homeopathic remedy works by stimulating the bodies natural healing system so that each person heals himself or herself. We use the minimum dose necessary to elicit that healing response. Careful observation is noted over time and a homeopathic remedy is changed only and if it is no longer helping. At times, homeopathic remedies work very rapidly and dramatically, and at other times, changes are more subtle and gradual. Usually people experience relief after their initial dose of a homeopathic remedy, with overall improvements occurring over time, sometimes with ups and downs in between.

It has been said, "the mind cannot exist without the body, and the body cannot exist without the mind." As such, my approach during consultations is to understand how physical symptoms have their relation to the overall mental and emotional state of each person. This is true of both adult and child alike. To arrive at true healing, I seek to understand you as an individual as thoroughly and comprehensively as I can. This means understanding your health history and overall physical health in relation to your emotional patterns, stress levels, mental health and functioning, and even your dreams. 

I work with people of all ages throughout the lifespan, from young children and infants to older adults. I find my style of practice is ideal for those who are looking for not only improved health (physical, emotional, mental), but a higher state of health accompanied with a deeper understanding of self that often adjoins that process.

There is really no limitation to the scope of my practice since the focus is on the individual health of each person, and not exclusively on the condition or diagnosis they've been given. 

Regarding credentials, I am a nationally board-certified classical homeopath (CCH) by the accredited Council for Homeopathic Certification, where I have also served on the Executive Board as Vice President. I am a Registered Member in the esteemed North American Society of Homeopaths and am a professional member of the Texas Society of Homeopathy. I am also a former faculty member for the professional classical homeopathy training program, Prometheus Homeopathic Institute. Finally, because one of my goals is to help holistic health become more widely available and accessible, I attained an Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration degree from Baylor University and graduated in May 2016.
